Sanctions on Asim Munir: The demand for imposing sanctions against Pakistan’s army chief General Asim Munir has intensified in the US Parliament. Indian-origin American MP Ro Khanna has called General Asim Munir the real ruler of Pakistan. He has demanded the US government to impose sanctions against Asim Munir for violating human rights. Ro Khanna has demanded the US government to impose sanctions on the Pakistani army chief and other commanders for international repressive crimes. He said, ‘We all know that Pakistan’s elections have been rigged and Imran Khan is in jail.’ Khanna has called Asim Munir a military ruler instead of a Pakistani general. He said, ‘General Munir is targeting the families of pro-democracy people in America. We should immediately impose sanctions on General Munir and his associates.’
Pakistani army chief will be held responsible
