Sanjay said, “I think doing a South Indian film is a challenge for me, and playing a villain is a great opportunity. You get to do a lot of things—there is action, intensity and depth. You get to beat people up, and you get beaten up too. It’s quite exciting!” The ‘Agneepath’ actor then joked, “The rape scene got cut but that… It’s a good thing that after doing so many films, an actor has a lot to do.”
Will Sanjay Dutt do romantic films?
Over the years, Sanjay has been a part of many action entertainers. When asked if he would like to do a romantic drama, he said, “Yes, if I get the right project, I would love to do a romantic film again. But our generation works for the mass audience and we are ‘massy’ heroes. I had done Saajan earlier, which was a great film with beautiful songs, so yes, if a good romantic script comes my way, I would be interested.”
When will ‘Double Smart’ be released?
On his experience of working with Ram and Puri in ‘Double Smart’, Sanjay said, “We are all fans of Puri Jagannadh. As Ram said, he changed Telugu cinema by bringing swag and coolness. I am grateful to him for making me a part of ‘Double Smart’ and casting me as Big Bull.. It is a pleasure to work with Ram, he is like a younger brother to me. Let us tell you that Double Smart is the sequel of Shankar and this film will be released in theaters on August 15.
