Sara Ali Khan’s mother Amrita Singh is Hindu and her father Saif Ali Khan is Muslim. Because of this, people keep saying something or the other regarding Sara’s surname and religion. Sara has now talked about this in an interview given to Gallata India.
Sara gave a befitting reply to the trolls
Sara Ali Khan said in the interview- ‘I was born in a secular family. I have the courage to stand against what is wrong. So, if I see this happening not just to me, but to anyone around me, I will stand up for them. Sara further said- ‘My religious beliefs, my food choice, how I decide to go to the airport, this is my decision, and I will never apologize for it.’
Sara has given a straight answer to those who question her religion that she has faith in everything, be it a temple or a mosque. It is their choice where they want to go and where not.
Talking about the work front, two films of Sara Ali Khan back to back have been released on the OTT platform. Sara’s Murder Mubarak was released on 15 March. Many big actors including Karisma Kapoor, Vijay Verma, Pankaj Tripathi, Madhuri Dixit have been seen with him in this film. Talking about Sara’s ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ released today, she is seen playing the role of a strong lady. This film has been released on Amazon Prime on 21 March.
