Sarfira Box Office Collection Day 1: Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Sarfira’ is all set to release in theatres on 12th July. Akshay Kumar who has been craving for a hit film for the last three years, ‘Sarfira’ can prove to be a good luck for him. The predicted figures of the film’s first day collection have come out and it is expected that the film can change Akshay’s fortunes.
According to Bollywood Hungama, trade analyst Taran Adarsh says that there is less discussion about ‘Sarfira’ and it has not been promoted much. But it is a word-of-mouth film. Taran said- ‘Soorarai Pottru (2020) was a beautiful film and the National Award it received was well deserved.
Like ‘Soorarai Pottru’, ‘Sarfira’ will also be successful!
Taran further said that he is sure that like ‘Soorarai Pottru’, ‘Sarfira’ will also be a faithful remake. He called the casting of Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal interesting as they are coming together after a long time. Raj Bansal, owner of Entertainment Paradise in Jaipur, feels that the film is because of the actors.
Will ‘Sarfira’ have an opening of 5 to 6 crores?
Bansal said- ‘Who knows the content? Actors appear in 5 films in a year. The public gets bored. This buzz is negligible. But it will have a better opening than Selfie (2023) and Mission Raniganj (2023). The opening can be between 5 to 6 crores. The reports I am hearing from friends in Mumbai, their response is encouraging. It may not get a good start but it will pick up in the later shows.’
”Sarfira’ is an inspirational film’
Trade analyst Atul Mohan said, “Sarfira will be a hit. It is an inspirational film. Before Covid, Akshay Kumar was in a phase where he gave films like Mission Mangal (2019), Toilet: Ek Prem Katha (2017), Pad Man (2018). He received praise for these films. This film is in the same zone.”
Atul further said, ‘After the lockdown, they went into the out-and-out commercial zone, be it Sooryavanshi, Bachchan Pandey or Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. The family audience will come to watch it. This year, families have come to the theatres in large numbers anyway.’
