Satara Masks Mandatory In Government Offices And Colleges Amid Corona Rise


Satara Corona News: In view of the increasing cases of corona and influenza in Maharashtra, it has been made mandatory for the employees and officers working in government and semi-government offices, colleges and banks in Satara district to wear masks. This order has been implemented with immediate effect.

District Collector issued this order
This order was issued by District Collector Ruchesh Jaivanshi on Monday. He appealed to the people to use masks in crowded places like markets, bus stands, fairs, congregations and weddings and take care of social distancing and hand hygiene. Explain that in view of the increasing cases of Corona and Influenza, the Public Health Department of Maharashtra has been instructed to take precautionary measures. As per the order of the department, this order has been issued by the Satara administration. The Satara administration said that people have been appealed to wear masks, follow social distancing and maintain cleanliness in crowded places like weekly markets, bus stands, fairs, gatherings and weddings.

Corona cases increasing continuously in Maharashtra

Let us tell you that 248 new cases of corona were reported in Maharashtra on Monday, during which one person also died. With new cases, the number of corona infected in the state has increased to 81,45,590 while the death toll has increased to 1,48,445. And a day ago, 562 cases of corona were reported in the state. On Monday, a health official told that the number of active cases of corona in Maharashtra is 3,532.

3,641 new cases surfaced in India
At the same time, 3,641 cases of corona have been reported in India in the last 24 hours. With this, the number of active cases of corona in the country has increased to 20,219. In the last 24 hours, 11 people have also died due to corona in the country.
