On the first Monday of Sawan, Yadav brothers will perform Jalabhishek in Baba Vishwanath temple. Only 21 Yadav brothers have been allowed to perform Jalabhishek in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. They will enter from Singh Dwar and through Kotwalpura, Dhundhiraj Ganesh Gate and enter the western gate of the temple.
The police administration has forbidden running during the procession. They have been appealed to do Shanti Darshan and Jalabhishek. At the same time, Yadav brothers have demanded to repair the Yatra route. According to their tradition, Yadav brothers will do Jalabhishek in nine Shiva temples including Shri Kashi Vishwanath temple on the first Monday of Sawan.
Additional Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Commissionerate S Channappa and Chief Executive of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust Vishwa Bhushan Mishra held a meeting with Chandravanshi Gop Seva Samiti, Govardhan Puja Samiti and All India Yadav Mahasabha at the Pinak Bhawan of the temple.

It was decided that in view of the crowd of devotees in Saavan, only 21 Yadav brothers will perform Jalabhishek in the sanctum sanctorum. The rest will be given a glimpse of the sanctum sanctorum from the western gate. The Yadav brothers will walk carrying water and playing the damru with the flag. S. Channappa said that there will be strict security arrangements for peaceful darshan.
It was said that during the yatra, the Yadav brothers should not run so that other pilgrims do not face any problem. Committee President Lalji Yadav said that the yatra will go through the traditional routes. The Kalash Yatra will start from Kedar Ghat at 8 am. After darshan at Gauri Kedareshwar temple, the yatra will go to Kashi Vishwanath temple after Tilbhandeshwar Mahadev, Badi Sheetla temple, Ahleshwar Mahadev.
After this, Purnahuti will be done with darshan of Mahamrityunjay Mahadev, Trilochan Mahadev, Onkaleshwar Mahadev and Baba Lat Bhairav. He said that the tradition of Jalabhishek of Yadav brothers was started by late Bhola Sardar and Chuni Sardar in the year 1932.
