SBI Alerts On Deepfake: State Bank of India (SBI) has issued a warning to its customers and the general public. Actually SBI has posted on social media. SBI said that some false deepfake videos are spreading on social media. Senior officials of the bank are being shown in these videos. These videos are falsely claiming to promote or support some investment schemes. Which is completely false. SBI clearly said that the bank or any of its officials are not associated with such schemes.
SBI appealed to the people-
SBI has appealed to the people to avoid such frauds and not trust these videos at all. It is written in this post – Warning, public warning, beware of deepfake videos. State Bank of India cautions all its customers and the general public that deepfake videos of its top management are being circulated on social media, claiming to have launched or endorsed certain investment schemes.
