The bus of Silver Grove School located in Uparwar village of Sewapuri went out of control and overturned in a field about 200 meters away from the school. The villagers who came after hearing the screams of the children broke the glass of the bus and pulled them out.
After getting the information, the parents who reached there raised slogans along with the villagers and accused the school management of negligence. Also, they accused the driver of being drunk and demanded action. The police of Kapsethi police station pacified everyone by explaining things to them. Out of the six injured children, the condition of one is said to be serious, while five have suffered minor injuries.
The children of Silver Grove School located in Uparwar village of Kapsethi police station area were off from school at around 2 pm. Driver Vijay Kumar Rajbhar left the school for their homes with 30 children in the bus.
The bus had reached about 200 meters from the school when the driver lost control and the bus overturned in the field. After the accident, the driver and the conductor left the bus and ran away. Hearing the screams of the children, the villagers broke the glass of the bus and took them out.
The injured children were taken to school and given first aid. Preksha Singh of Kalika Dham, Anmol Tiwari of Kuru, Akshay Pratap of Odraha, Yashraj Singh of Patare and Ajitesh Kumar Gupta of Bazar Kalika suffered minor injuries in the accident.
At the same time, the condition of Yuvan Singh, a class one student from Akodha, is said to be critical after he suffered a head injury. Meanwhile, in this regard, Kapsethi police station in-charge Bankelal said that the bus has been taken into custody. The driver has been sent for medical examination. If a complaint is received regarding the incident, action will be taken.
