School closed due to winter

The scourge of winter continues in Badaun district. In view of this, after the order of DM, BSA has given instructions to keep schools up to class eight closed till January 17. It has been said in the order that during this period, all teachers, Shikshamitras, instructors etc. will be present in schools and discharge their responsibilities. Whereas DIOS changed the timings of secondary, CBSE, ISSE schools.
Due to severe cold in the district, District Basic Education Officer Swati Bharti has given instructions to keep all the schools of council, recognized, aided, CBSE, ICSE boards up to class eight closed till January 17. Kasturba Gandhi Residential School has also been asked to remain closed till January 17. However, during these days, teachers, Shikshamitras, instructors and other personnel will be present in the school and do other administrative work.
Timings of these schools changed
District School Inspector Dr. Pravesh Kumar has given instructions that till now secondary schools were open from 8:50 am to 2:50 pm. But now all secondary and ICSE and CBSE schools from classes 9 to 12 will open from 10 am to 3 pm from January 16. No school should be opened before this. If any operator does this then strict action will be taken against him.
