School timings changed due to heatwave in Assam know which state suffers the most from the heat


The heat wave has increased again in many states of the country amidst the monsoon season. In this sequence, the weather has also changed in Assam. It is the rainy season there and 17 areas of 13 districts of the state are experiencing severe heat. Let us tell you that the automatic weather station operated by IMD has recorded a temperature of 45.9 degrees Celsius at Guwahati University. The temperature within the city is 40.7 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature in Guwahati since 1951 was recorded on 24 April 2014, when the temperature was recorded at 40.6 degrees Celsius.

Due to severe heat in Assam, school timings have been reduced. In view of the heat, the administration has ordered the schools in Kamrup Metropolitan District to open at 7:30 am and close at 12:30 pm from Saturday. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, due to abnormal monsoon and less rainfall, heat wave like conditions have occurred in Assam. Now the rising temperature during the monsoon season is a matter of concern for meteorologists. However, the administration has changed the school timings to protect the children from this.

This state has the highest temperature

Many states of India are in the grip of severe heat. But the most heat is felt in the Indian state of Rajasthan. The temperature of some districts of Rajasthan reaches 50 degrees Celsius. However, in the last few years, due to global warming, a huge increase in temperature has been seen in many states of India.
