For this, the court has given one month’s time to the schools. In fact, the parents had said in their petition filed that during the year 2020-21, the schools did not provide any other service to the children except online tuition, but did not reduce the fees even by Re 1. Along with this, the petitioners also cited the recent decision of the Supreme Court on Indian School, Jodhpur vs. State of Rajasthan in their argument. It was said in this decision that demanding fees without providing any service to the schools would amount to profiteering and commercialization of education.
