Now all the schools of all the boards of Aligarh district will remain closed not for one, two days but for four days. The District Magistrate has announced a two-day holiday, while the next day is Sunday and the next is a public holiday. Now schools will open on 23 January.
DM ordered two days leave
Due to severe cold and cold wave, students of all boards of Aligarh up to 8th will have holiday till 20th January. BSA Dr. Rakesh Kumar Singh said that on the orders of District Magistrate Indra Vikram Singh, there will be holiday for students in schools from nursery to 8th class of CBSE, ICSE, Basic Education Council and other boards till January 20. He said that all the teachers, instructors, Shikshamitras, non-teaching staff working in the schools will remain present in the school for the stipulated time and will carry out departmental and school related work. AMU School Director Prof. Asfar Ali Khan said that classes up to 8th will remain closed in AMU schools.
Schools will remain closed for two more days
DM has declared holiday on 19th and 20th January due to severe cold and cold wave. It is Sunday 21st January. The Chief Minister has already declared 22 January as a public holiday on the day of the consecration of Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya. In this way, now schools will remain closed for four days from 19th to 22nd January. On January 22, there is a holiday for all schools of all classes, not just class 8.
Online studies started
Due to two consecutive days of holidays due to cold, many schools have now started online education for children. Children are having mobile classes for three to four hours every day and homework is also being given.
