Seat Sharing Between Congress AAP Alliance Punjab And Delhi Big Points Over Lok Sabha Election 2024

INDIA Seat Sharing: Seat sharing is the biggest question before the opposition alliance India united against BJP for the Lok Sabha elections. Meanwhile, discussions have started regarding seat sharing between Congress, which is part of Alliance India, and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Five big things-

1. AAP and Congress in Delhi Lok Sabha Elections In the meeting regarding seat distribution for BJP, both the parties reiterated their unity against BJP. But nothing was clarified regarding seat sharing in this meeting. AAP leaders Sandeep Pathak, Atishi and Saurabh Bhardwaj attended the meeting. Many leaders including Congress National Alliance Committee Convener Mukul Wasnik, former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot participated.

2. Congress leader Wasnik said that many election related issues were discussed. He said, “We held a meeting on many issues for the upcoming elections. The talks will continue and we will meet again. Only after that we will take the final decision on seat distribution. Everything was discussed in detail. We will contest elections together. We will defeat BJP.

3. Amidst the discussions on seat sharing, sources told ABP News that there was no discussion regarding Punjab in the meeting on Monday (January 8) between AAP and Congress. Both the parties are conducting surveys in Punjab. Based on this the next step will be decided. Sources said that the formula for seven seats in Delhi has been prepared in both the parties. In this, it has been agreed to give 4 seats to AAP while Congress can contest on three seats. You have government in Delhi and Punjab.

4. In such a situation, the decision on coordination between AAP and Congress in Punjab will be taken after the survey report comes. Congress has 7 out of 13 Lok Sabha seats in Punjab. There is an AAP MP there. In such a situation, Congress wants more seats in the alliance, whereas news agency PTI quoted sources as saying that AAP is not ready for this.

5. News agency PTI quoted sources as saying that AAP also wants seats from Congress in Gujarat, Goa and Haryana. This is coming to light at a time when AAP’s national convenor Kejriwal recently said that Chaitra Vasava will be the party’s candidate from Bharuch Lok Sabha seat in the general elections. This announcement of Kejriwal is being seen as pressure on Congress.
