Shahrukh did not go to meet his mother
When Shah Rukh’s mother Lateef Fatima Khan passed away, he was praying for his mother admitted in the ICU in the parking lot of Batra Hospital in Delhi. Actually, someone had told him that nothing would happen to him if he kept praying for his mother. Because of this Shahrukh could not even go to meet his mother. Shahrukh told that he was asked to recite Dua 100 times, but he had recited Dua more than 100 times. Only then the doctor tells him that he can go to his mother in the ICU. Which meant that his mother was no longer in this world.

Shahrukh had said in this interview, “I didn’t want to go, because I felt that if I keep praying then my mother will be saved. But then sister and other people said that it is necessary to go, so I had to go”. During this, Shahrukh said that a person leaves the world only when he is satisfied with everything. If this does not happen then the parents do not leave the world. Shahrukh says, “When mother was in ICU, I also went to her and said wrong things. I kept hurting her and thought that if I did not let her be satisfied, she would not go”.
The actor further said, “To hurt my mother, I used to say silly things like if you go away, I will not take care of my sister, I will not study, I will not work. But all this was to calm the heart. Yes. These are the things of childhood. She had to go. Perhaps she was satisfied that I will take care of my sister. I will do well in life”. In this way, Shahrukh had made everyone emotional by sharing the memories associated with his mother.
