Shahid Kapoor Revealed he was heart broken after break up and cried on film set

The actor we are talking about is none other than Bollywood’s chocolate hero Shahid Kapoor. Shahid has played many types of characters in his career so far and has proved his strong acting skills.

Shahid Kapoor is as successful in his professional life as his personal life has also been in the news. There used to be a lot of talk about Shahid’s affair with Kareena Kapoor. But they broke up and all this is history now. Now both have moved forward. Shahid is enjoying a happy life with his wife Mira Kapoor and two children.

Recently, in an interview, Shahid talked about the period when he went through the pain of heartbreak.

In fact, in an interview given on the YouTube channel of journalist Faye D’Souza, the Kabir Singh star was asked whether he has ever cried alone because of his career. On this Shahid said, “Not for career but it happened to me only when I went through heartbreak.”

The actor said, “And, sometimes it happens when you are making films, so, I have that. It was really very bad. My makeup person did my makeup and I started crying. She said, ‘I have just finished your makeup, you can’t do that. But I felt that I was completely finished.

Shahid not only talked about this personal experience, but he also discussed the expectations from boys and men, especially in India.

Shahid further said, “Specially, Indian men are told from a very young age that you have to be the provider, you have to protect and be the family man… Sometimes, this can put a lot of pressure on you.

Shahid further said, “Why can’t we change roles sometimes? You may feel that way and it is okay to feel that way because ultimately everyone is human and we feel all kinds of emotions. A lot of men find it difficult to express their vulnerable side and I think because I’m an actor, maybe I’m comfortable because it’s a part of my job. I have to be able to reach that place that is sensitive and vulnerable. When you are an actor, you also understand that vulnerability is extremely attractive. Aggression cannot attract people the way vulnerability does. Only humans are insecure, so as a man you should have no problem with this.

Talking about Shahid’s work front, the actor will soon be seen in his next film ‘Deva’. This movie will be released in theaters on 14 February 2025.
