The production house has not signed any artist till date. The dues have not been stopped. Shailesh Lodha will get his dues, but he will have to close and sign the rest of the necessary papers.”

While there is no statement from the show’s producer Asit Kumar Modi on the matter of Shailesh Lodha’s pending payment, Suhail Ramani, the project head of the show, told E-Times, “After signing the papers and submitting your pending payment Shailesh hasn’t responded despite repeated contacts to collect the payment, when you leave a company or a show, there is always a process that needs to be followed and completed. Artistes, staff have to complete these formalities. No company will release payment before completing the formalities.”
Shailesh Lodha has been a part of the show ‘Taarak Mehta..’ for almost 14 years. The audience has also been a big fan of his wit and catchphrase. The actor created a sensation by suddenly leaving the show in the year 2022.
