Navratri Remedies 2024: Nine forms of Maa Durga are worshiped during Navratri. By worshiping the Mother, your wishes are fulfilled. Who is Maa Kushmanda?
The fourth day of Shardiya Navratri is on 6th October. The fourth day of Navratri is dedicated to Mother Kushmanda. Mother Kushmanda is worshiped on this day. She is called Kushmanda because of her gentle smile. When the universe was not created, there was darkness all around, then the universe was created in this form of the Goddess. Mother Kushmanda is also called Ashtabhuja Devi because her hands are decorated with bow, arrow, chakra, mace, nectar pot, lotus and kamandal.
Auspicious time for worship of Mother Kushmanda-
- This day will also be on Chaturthi Tithi of Ashwin Shukla Paksha. Mother Kushmanda will be worshiped on this day.
- On this day, there is also a coincidence of Varad Vinayak Chaturthi fast and Preeti Yoga.
- Chaturthi Tithi will start at 7:49 AM on October 6 and end at 9:47 AM on October 7.
- The Brahm Muhurta for worshiping Maa Kushmanda is from 4:48 AM to 5:36 AM and the Abhijeet Muhurta is from 11:51 AM to 4:11 PM.
How to worship Mother Kushmanda-
- In the morning of worship of Maa Kushmanda, take bath and then wear orange colored clothes.
- Purify the place of worship by sprinkling Ganga water and before worship, first of all invoke Lord Ganesha and all the Gods and Goddesses.
- Offer vermilion, yellow flowers and green cardamom to Mother Goddess and then perform Aarti by lighting the lamp of Goddess Kushmanda.
Mantras of Maa Kushmanda-
- Chant “Om Devi Kushmandaye Namah” 108 times.
- Varad Vinayak Chaturthi fast will also be observed on this day, hence worship Lord Ganesha also.
- Make sure to offer Durva to Lord Ganesha.
- With this you will get the blessings of Lord Ganesha along with Maa Durga.
- You will get happiness and prosperity by worshiping properly. Offer Malpua to Maa Kushmanda.
- To please Goddess Kushmanda, by offering curd, fruits, dry fruits, sweets and 16 adornments during the puja, all your wishes will be fulfilled.
- On the fourth day of Navratri, offer Kumhra i.e. Petha to Mother Kushmanda.
- Put camphor in rose flowers and offer it to the mother.
- Chant Mahalaxmi Mantra.
“Om Shree Hreem Shreem Kamle Kamlalaye Prasidh Shreem Hreem Shreem Om Mahalakshmayai Namah.” Chant this and in the evening take out camphor from the flower and light it. By following this remedy all your wishes will be fulfilled.
