MP Shashi Tharoor told on Twitter that he has canceled official programs and is now undergoing treatment. Tharoor also said that he had slipped while landing in Parliament and had sprained his leg during the fall.
The MP wrote on Twitter, “Yesterday while going down a staircase in Parliament, I slipped and sprained my foot. It didn’t matter for a few hours, but then the pain got worse and I had to go to the hospital. I am in the hospital now.” Parliament cannot come today. Along with this, previously scheduled programs in the assembly constituency have also been cancelled.”
Government encircled in Tawang case
Let us inform that the winter session of Parliament is going on and Shashi Tharoor is also present in Delhi to participate in the session. Tharoor also targeted the government in the case of Tawang. ‘This is not a democracy’
Tharoor told reporters in the Parliament complex, “A short statement was made without any explanation and the questions or views of others were not even heard. This is not a democracy.” He said, “We have been saying that this is what the Parliament is for (discussion). The government should be answerable to the people of India in such matters.” Tharoor said that the government should explain the whole situation and answer some questions.
