Sheikh Hasina Bangladesh Government head Muhammad Yunus may consider Extradition of Sheikh Hasina from India


Sheikh Hasina Extradition: After the student violence in Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina has left the post of Prime Minister and has come to India from Bangladesh. A new government of Mohammad Yunus has been formed in Bangladesh, but still Sheikh Hasina’s troubles are not leaving her.

The new interim government of Mohammad Yunus formed in Bangladesh does not want Sheikh Hasina to live peacefully even in India. The Bangladesh government can consider extraditing Sheikh Hasina from India. Bangladesh Foreign Minister Mohammad Tauhid said during an interview that if the Law Ministry comes to a conclusion, then they will have to talk to India about bringing Sheikh Hasina back. The Bangladesh government can choose the option of bringing back former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in view of the cases being registered against her.

Demanded to arrest and prosecute Awami League leaders

On one hand, many cases are being filed against Sheikh Hasina in Bangladesh, while discussions are also going on about her extradition. On the other hand, the party of former Bangladesh Prime Minister Khaleda Zia organized protests across the country on 15 August. There is a demand to arrest and prosecute Sheikh Hasina and important people of her party for the violence in Bangladesh.

More than 500 people killed in Bangladesh violence

Sheikh Hasina resigned on 5 August due to the nationwide protests against her and left the country. After leaving Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina came to India and has been living there since then. After the fall of Sheikh Hasina’s government, the riots in Bangladesh did not end and became more violent. Many types of atrocities were also committed against the Hindus living in Bangladesh. More than 500 people have been killed in the incidents of violence in Bangladesh.
