Waqf Amendment Bill: The political temperature across the country is high over the Waqf Amendment Bill. Meanwhile, Shia religious leader Maulana Syed Kalbe Jawad seemed unhappy with the government over the Waqf Board Bill. He says that when the government was making the Waqf Act, they should have met the Muslims. Now should we approach the government with a begging bowl? Narrating an anecdote, he said that if someone occupies your house, you will say that you should first talk to the thief. You should first tell the thief to talk to him.

Talking to news agency ANI, Shia religious leader Maulana Syed Kalbe Jawad said, “Why did the government not try to meet us while making the Waqf Act. They should have talked to the Maulanas and Ulemas. Why did they not talk to us? They presented it without consulting us.” He further said that now the government is saying why we are not meeting.

Government needs to spread awareness- Shia religious leader

Shia religious leader Maulana Syed Kalbe Jawad further said that the central government needs to spread awareness on the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, 2024. Because people do not know anything about its disadvantages. With its implementation, 95 Waqfs will automatically end and the 5 that remain will be under the DM of the district. He further said that what loss will they have to suffer if they do this.

‘There is a big conspiracy to harm Muslims’

Maulana Syed Kalbe Jawad said that the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, 2024 is a big conspiracy to harm Muslims. However, we will talk to the government for this. He further said that for this issue, we will especially talk to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. Help us in this regard and do not let this bill pass in Parliament. Because, this will destroy the entire Waqf property.
