A few months ago, the ED also seized assets worth Rs 97.79 crore of this celeb couple in connection with the bitcoin fraud case. The ED alleged that Raj Kundra, along with others, collected a huge amount of Rs 6,600 crore from the public and promised to give 10% return every month in the form of bitcoin. In such a situation, the ED seized the property of Shilpa and Raj. Now Shilpa’s husband Raj Kundra has come into the limelight due to buying a new luxury car.

Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra has bought a luxury car among the assets seized by the ED. The price of this new green coloured luxury car is said to be Rs 3 crore. British luxury sports car brand Lotus has delivered this attractive car to Kundra. In a video that went viral on the internet, this new attractive car can be seen arriving at Shilpa-Raj’s Juhu bungalow. In the video, Raj Kundra was seen arriving at his Juhu bungalow in a new car. Kundra got out of the car wearing a brown coloured T-shirt and blue coloured track pants. His son Viaan was also seen in the video, who was with him during the outing.
ED had seized Shilpa-Raj’s assets worth Rs 97.79 crore
Kundra and Shetty have made this expensive purchase after facing serious legal troubles. In April this year, the ED had seized the couple’s assets worth Rs 97.79 crore under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 (PMLA). The seized assets include flats in Mumbai and Pune. Shilpa and Raj had issued a statement regarding this matter through their lawyer Prashant Patil. In which it was written, “We will follow the due process of law and take the necessary steps prescribed under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act to protect the liberty and property of my client. Prima facie, there is no case against my client Mr. Raj Kundra and Mrs. Shilpa Shetty Kundra.
