Shiv Sena Punjab Leader Sandeep Thapar Gora Attack in Ludhiana


Sandeep Thapar Attack News: Shiv Sena leader Sandeep Thapar was allegedly attacked by four people with swords in Ludhiana, Punjab. Police gave this information. Police said that the condition of the leader is said to be critical. The surprising thing is that the attackers attacked Thapar when his guards were with him.

Police said Sandeep Thapar was allegedly attacked when he was coming out of the office of Samvedna Trust located near the Civil Hospital after attending a function organised to mark the fourth death anniversary of the trust’s founder-president Ravinder Arora.

Police said four ‘Nihangs’ waiting outside the office allegedly attacked Thapar with swords, injuring him on the head.

According to the police, Sandeep Thapar was taken to the hospital immediately after the attack, where his condition is said to be critical. Police said that when Sandeep Thapar was attacked, his security personnel were present on the spot. Police Inspector Gurjeet Singh said that the attackers fled from the spot. Actually, Nihangs belong to the Sikh community, whose members usually wear blue clothes and are seen carrying traditional weapons.

Police registered a case
Regarding this incident, Ludhiana DCP Jaskaran Singh Teja said, “The condition of Shiv Sena leader Sandeep Thapar is now stable and his treatment is going on. Punjab Police has registered a case of attempted murder based on the statement of Sandeep Thapar’s PSO and further investigation is going on to arrest the criminals.”
