Bharat told that he had been running a breakfast shop for a long time, but the shop got demolished during the road widening in Saharsa. After this he started farming. But, due to not having our own land, we were not able to earn profits as per our hard work. When he came in contact with the then District Agriculture Officer of Madhepura, he cooperated a lot. Also gave Rs 2000 to open the shop. Bharat now earns more than two thousand rupees every day. They say that Rajan Balan Saheb is no less than a god for us. Not only this, he also told his office staff to eat only Bharat’s litti.
Litti is made from pure flour

From morning till evening, staff from nearby offices come here and eat Litti. Bharat sells litti for Rs 10 a piece. Along with this, chickpeas or potato curry and raw onion are also given to eat.
