She told that when she sought leave from Iqbal’s director for the marriage, after knowing this, Nagesh asked her to cancel the marriage. He told that Nagesh had said this because his character in the film was that of a teenager. Therefore, he cannot be married in real life.
He had told that he belongs to a middle class family. And they were being asked to cancel the wedding at a time when the wedding cards had been distributed. So, after much discussion, it was decided that I would keep the matter of marriage a secret. Shreyas had kept his marriage secret even during the promotion of the film. His wife Deepti came during the premiere of the film as the director’s sister.
Had a heart attack just a few days ago
Shreyas had a heart attack during the shooting of his upcoming film ‘Welcome to Jungle’. He was admitted to the hospital and after his angioplasty he is now fine. In an interview given to Times of India, Shreyas had also told that he had never been admitted to the hospital before this.
