In the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi and Shahi Idgah dispute, four petitions will be heard in the Supreme Court after some time. Expressing disagreement with the decisions of the High Court, the Muslim side has challenged all four applications in the Supreme Court.
Advocate Mahendra Pratap Singh, a party to the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi dispute, said that hearing will be held on four cases. These include transfer of Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi and Shahi Eidgah dispute from Mathura Court to Allahabad High Court, Muslim side’s demand for Court Commission stay in the dispute, Seven-Eleven (the entire episode is not worth pursuing in any way). Apart from this, the Supreme Court will also hear the recall application. On the issue of recall application, the High Court had ordered to hear all the 18 cases of this case together on January 11, 2024.
The verdict was in favor of the Hindu side on the maintainability of the suit. On this, the Muslim side had requested to hear the recall application filed against the order to hear the cases together. On October 23, the court had rejected the recall application of the Muslim side. On this, the Muslim side challenged this in the Supreme Court. Now these four petitions will be heard on Tuesday in Court Number Two of the Supreme Court.
Shahi Idgah Mosque Committee’s advocate Tanveer Ahmed said that four petitions will be heard in the Supreme Court on Tuesday. During this time we will present our stand strongly. The orders given by the High Court are not legal.
