Shukrawar Puja: Friday is dedicated to ladies. Mother Lakshmi (Lakshmi ji)- To please Goddess Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth, it is advised to observe Vaibhav Lakshmi vrat on Friday. This fast is also useful to maintain the presence of Goddess Lakshmi in the family. Any man or woman can do it. In this, food is eaten once.
In the puja, offer white sandalwood, white flowers and kheer to Goddess Lakshmi. Installing Lakshmi Shree Yantra on this day and worshiping it regularly leads to increase in wealth and business. Observe Vaibhav Lakshmi fast till 11th or 21st Friday. It should be started from Friday of Shukla Paksha of any month.
remedy – To please Goddess Lakshmi, recite Shri Sukta and donate white things.
Maa Santoshi – Santoshi Mata is considered to be the goddess who removes the sorrows and worries of the seeker and bestows happiness. To receive its blessings, there is a tradition of fasting for 16 Fridays (Santoshi Mata Vrat). Jaggery and gram are especially offered to Maa Santoshi in the worship. Consumption of sour things is prohibited in this. This should also be started from Friday of Shukla Paksha.
remedy – Chant Shri Santoshi Devvye Namah 108 times.
Worship of Maa Kali – The worship of Goddess Kali, the presiding deity of destruction, is considered infallible on Friday. By worshiping them one gets freedom from destruction of enemies, fear, diseases, defects, witchcraft etc. Mother Kali should be worshiped normally. For this, wear red clothes, light a lamp and Guggal incense in front of the Goddess. Offer peda and cloves and chant 13 rosaries of “Om Krim Kalikayai Namah”.
remedy – Light a two-faced lamp made of flour and recite Kali Chalisa.
