Didn’t get films because of throwing tantrums!
When Prachi was working in the serial Kasam Se, she got a chance to work in the film Rock On. This film released in the year 2008 was a superhit. After this, the actress appeared in many films including Life Partner, Teri Meri Kahaani, Rock On 2, Once Upon a Time in Mumbai, Carbon, Azhar, Policegiri as well as I Me Aur Main. After this Prachi was not seen much in the industry.
Recently, Prachi talked about the ups and downs in her film career in an interview. The actress said that she has always been ‘choosy’ about work. Prachi revealed that, ‘Many times film producers do not contact her because of her tantrums. Today she feels more justified in rejecting offers. She said, ‘I don’t work much, so people know that I can say no to them. It’s not like there’s any pressure on me to say yes. Loss caused due to ‘fussy’ behavior
The actress told that, due to her ‘fussy’ behavior in the last few years, she has had to suffer the consequences of many producers not contacting her. Filmmakers think that I may not be interested in playing certain characters, which happened to me at one time. They did not bring such a script to me. Now, things have changed and I am doing different things on OTT.
However, in her 18-year long career, Prachi has often tried to reach out to the filmmakers whom she admires to get work, but she too has not been successful. Prachi said- ‘Whenever I meet a filmmaker whose work I like, I make it a point to tell him that I liked his film very much.’
