The same happened with the businessman and his number got transferred to another person. But this number was registered in the bank, which was taken advantage of by the fraudster. At present, the police is investigating the matter and it is feared that the person who has cheated has been allotted this number.

Because the number was linked to the bank, due to this he could easily fetch the bank details on Paytm or other UPI apps and clear the money. Due to the number being attached to the bank, OTP or other messages come on the same, which is taken advantage of by fraudsters. That’s why always keep your number active, if for some reason the number is also closed, then immediately remove it from the bank or other places.
