Singapore Airlines Flight Video: One person lost his life and 71 people were injured due to ‘turbulence’ on a flight from London to Singapore. The deceased has been identified as 73-year-old Geoff Kitchen, who was of British origin.
CNN reported on Tuesday (May 21, 2024) on behalf of the General Manager of Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International Airport Kittipong Kittikachorn, “Preliminary investigation indicates that the person may have suffered a heart attack or similar- Died due to similar situation.”
The death of the British national, who served the Thornbury Musical Theater Group (TMTG) for 35 years, was confirmed on the organization’s Facebook page. The TMTG statement said he was a gentleman of honesty and integrity, who always worked for the good of the group.
It was reported on the Facebook page of Singapore Airlines that the Boeing 777-300 ER plane was diverted towards Bangkok, in which there were 211 passengers and 18 crew members.

According to media reports, after getting caught in the turbulence, the passengers on board the plane got a strong shock, due to which the flight fell six thousand feet within about three minutes. Three Indians were also on board the plane.
