There was a huge uproar over the death of a woman during treatment at a private clinic named Anandi Prakash Hospital in Sitamarhi city of Bihar. After the incident, the family members of the patient created a ruckus by placing the body at the gate of the clinic and also vandalized it. Seeing the anger of the family members, the doctor and the staff left the clinic and fled. This incident happened on Hospital Road in the city. The deceased has been identified as Soni Devi, wife of Dashrath Sah, a resident of Chaurhiya in Sahiyara police station area of the district.

Was admitted due to minor problem

The family said that Soni Devi was admitted to a private hospital on Hospital Road two days ago for a minor problem in her leg. There, she was given the wrong injection in the name of treatment, due to which she died. The family alleges that during the treatment, we complained several times about the patient being uneasy, but no one was listening to anything. On receiving information about the ruckus, the city police station reached the spot and pacified the angry family members.

The city police station chief said that the family refused to get Soni Devi’s body post-mortemed. If the post-mortem had been done, the truth would have come out. At present, the family has not given any application for FIR.

Many clinics are running fraudulently

It is worth noting that within the last one week, this is the second time that there has been a ruckus after the death of a patient in different private clinics located on Hospital Road. Both times, the family has alleged wrong treatment. However, both times, no written complaint has been given to the police so far, due to which the police is not taking any action.

At the same time, local people say that dozens of fake clinics are running on Sadar Hospital Road. Patients are dying due to wrong treatment and operations in the clinics located on Hospital Road, but the district administration is unable to do anything. At the same time, Civil Surgeon Krishnakant Jha said that running a clinic without registration is illegal. An order has been given to investigate and take action against the clinic.
