On Thursday, in the Maharajganj main market of Siwan, some youths shot an intermediate student during an argument and killed him. The police arrived after the incident and took the body into custody and sent it for postmortem.

According to the information, Bhanu Kumar Singh, 15 years old son of Sudhir Kumar Singh, a resident of Rukundipur in Daraunda police station area, was an intermediate student. He had gone to Maharajganj for coaching from Rukundipur. After studying in coaching, he reached a tea stall in Maharajganj main market. 5 to 6 boys also reached there and there was an altercation between the two. In no time, the boys started firing indiscriminately at Bhanu Kumar Singh.

In the firing, Bhanu Pratap Singh was shot in the chest. After this, Bhanu fell on the ground and there was a stampede. With the help of the people around, Bhanu Kumar Singh was admitted to the nearby Pas Hospital, where the team of doctors declared him dead. The family members say that incidents of firing are frequent in Maharajganj police station area. Such incidents in the main market have created panic among the students. According to the family members, the boys who carried out the firing incident are said to be professional criminals. However, this is a matter of police investigation.
