Smartphone Monsoon Tips: During monsoon, the safety of the smartphone becomes more important for us than our own. However, sometimes the phone gets wet even after complete safety. If your phone also gets wet in the rain, then do not worry. We are telling you such tips with the help of which you can fix the wet phone.
Whenever your smartphone gets wet in water, first of all turn it off. If water enters any part of the phone while it is on, a short circuit can also occur. Keep in mind that if the phone has fallen in water or has got wet in the rain, do not try to check whether any of its buttons are working or not. It would be wise to turn it off first.
What to do if your phone gets wet
- When the phone gets wet, the first thing you should do is remove the battery so that the power coming to the phone is cut off.
- After this, remove all its other accessories like SIM card, memory card, phone cover, attack cord etc.
- Clean all the accessories with tissue paper. You can also use newspaper instead of tissue. By doing this, the moisture along with water is removed from the accessories.
- If your smartphone has a non-removable battery like Nokia Lumia, iPhone or many other phones, then the option of removing the battery and turning it off will be eliminated.
- In such a case, turn off the phone directly by pressing the power button for a while. Smartphones that have non-removable batteries are more prone to short circuits due to water.
- When you have cleaned your phone and all its parts thoroughly with paper napkins and towels, then press them in dry rice and keep them in a vessel. Rice absorbs the moisture of these parts quickly. By doing this, the moisture of the phone will be removed.
