Smriti Irani In Saudi Arabia: India’s Union Minister Smriti Irani, who is on a visit to Saudi Arabia, has visited Medina, one of the holiest cities for Muslims. This is the first time that a non-Muslim Indian delegation has reached the city of Medina. After pictures of his visit appeared on social media, Muslim fundamentalists have targeted Saudi Arabia.
Smriti Irani herself has shared pictures of Madina on her official social media platform X (formerly Twitter). On which the fundamentalists have expressed their strong displeasure. Critics of the Indian Union Minister’s visit say that Saudi Arabia should not have allowed a non-Muslim woman to visit Medina. For this, Saudi Arabia’s Prince Mohammed bin Salman is also cursing Al Saud.
Regarding her visit to Madina, Smriti Irani wrote on X that today made a historic visit to Madina, the Prophet’s Mosque Al Masjid Al Nabawi in one of the holiest cities of Islam, the mountains of Uhud and the Quba Mosque – the first mosque of Islam. Travel included. Seeing his post, Muslim fundamentalists became enraged. After which he started cursing the Saudi Prince.

Reposting Smriti Irani’s post, a Muslim fundamentalist wrote, “What is a Hindu politician from India doing in Madina?” Which BJP politician is known for promoting Hindutva ideology? The Prophet had clearly forbidden idol worshipers from coming to this area, these cities are for Muslims only. No one else can come here.
,@KingSalman why don’t you leave the haramain alone?
You can progress as much as you want in the rest of KSA.
Makkah mukarramah & Madina Munawwarah are the most sacred places for the followers of Rasool Allah ﷺ
Why are you allowing mushrikeen till the periphery of our sanctuary?— تاب سکن (@taab_e_sukhan) January 8, 2024
Tagging the Saudi Prince, a user wrote, “Why are you allowing Mushriken to reach the perimeter of our sanctuary?” In the rest you can progress as much as you want but Mecca Mukarrama and Medina are the holiest places for the Prophet followers of Munawwar.
