Spotify: Music streaming platform Spotify is working on a feature, after its rollout, it will be able to compete with YouTube. Actually, till now you might have used Spotify only for listening to music, but now you will be able to use this platform for watching music videos also.
Spotify is testing to bring music video feature on its platform. Currently, the company has rolled out this new feature for some premium beta users, but if everything goes well, soon the company can roll out this feature for common users also.

After the introduction of music video feature in Spotify, the competition of YouTube will increase, because till now most of the people around the world use YouTube to watch any music video. However, not only music videos but many other types of videos can be seen on YouTube, but probably only music videos will be streamed on Spotify.
Spotify has confirmed that the service for full-length music video streaming is currently available for Premium Beta users in the UK, Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Germany, Italy, Brazil, Colombia, Philippines, Indonesia and Kenya. The company’s target is that they have to create 1 billion users by 2023.
Shorts service was also launched
After the launch of this new feature of Spotify, there will be competition between YouTube as well as Apple Music, because the users of both these platforms can get attracted to Spotify. Let us tell you that last year, Spotify had also launched a short video service like YouTube, through which users can create their own videos of up to 30 seconds and upload them on Spotify.
In such a situation, looking at the new plans of Spotify, it seems that the company can make some big and important changes or add new services to its platform to reach one billion users by 2030.
