Janhvi Kapoor had recently gone to Coffee with Karan 8 with her sister Khushi Kapoor. Where Karan Johar talked about Sridevi and her two daughters. Karan mentioned that in an interview given in 2017, Sridevi had expressed reservations about Janhvi’s acting career and she wanted Janhvi to get married.

In an interview given to Mid Day in 2017, Sridevi had said – Jahnavi wanted to do films and initially I was not in her favor. I don’t think this is a bad industry. I am made of this world but as a parent, seeing Jahnavi married will give me more happiness. But her happiness matters more to me and if she does well as an actress, then I will be a proud mother.
However, Sridevi supported Jhanvi’s acting career. Sridevi had told in an interview that she has a friend relationship with Jhanvi. She had said- We are friends. We have spent a lot of time together. Our routine revolves around each other.
