There was a dispute between two groups of youths playing theater in village Saimri (Tajganj) of Agra. Youths from another group surrounded a youth and opened fire. He ran into the house to save his life. The attacking youth came there also. Stones were pelted at the house. When people arrived, they threatened him and ran away. The victim complained to the police. On this the youth threatened again. When the video went viral on social media, the police swung into action and arrested two and sent them to jail.
Sarju Yadav, a resident of village Saimri, was sitting near the temple in the village. It is alleged that Akash Yadav, Pradeep Yadav, Ashok, Sunny, Rampal, Gabbar, Ramkishan and Rocky of the village came. He started threatening to kill. Targeting Sarju Yadav, Ashok and Akash opened fire with their pistols. He started running towards home to save his life. Hearing the sound, the villagers came out of their houses.
The attacking youth also ran after Sarju. Started throwing bricks and stones on him. Stones were also pelted at the house. The accused were captured in the CCTV cameras installed in the village. In this, the attacking youth is seen running after Sarju. On Sunday, another video came on social media, in which youths are seen on bikes. He is leaving threateningly.
Inspector in-charge of the police station said that there are two groups in the village. Both want to show charisma. They keep posting statuses on WhatsApp and videos on Instagram against each other. There is a dispute going on in this matter. That is why Sarju was attacked. Accused Rocky and Ashok have been caught. A pistol has also been recovered from Ashok. Both have been sent to jail. Raids are being conducted to search for other accused.
