The high speed storm that came on Wednesday evening has damaged many big trees in the city of Kanha. A large number of trees have fallen from the city to the countryside. The exact number of trees that have fallen in the district due to the storm is not known, but it is being estimated that this number is in dozens. Apart from Baldev, Madhaura, incidents of trees falling have been reported at many places in the countryside.

At one place on Sonkh Road also, a big tree has been uprooted due to the storm. A big part of the tree has collapsed due to the strong storm in Dampier Nagar. After the storm, the forest department teams are engaged in relief work. With the help of the administrative team, the trees fallen on the road have been removed. The wood of the trees has been kept safe. Divisional Director Rajnikant Mittal said that there has been a lot of damage due to the storm. There have been incidents of trees falling at many places. A survey is being conducted to know the exact number of trees broken due to the storm.
