Amar Kaushikâs latest directorial film âStree 2â has done wonders. The film was released in theatres on 15 August 2024 along with Akshay Kumarâs Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham starrer Veda. Akshay and Johnâs big budget films flopped at the box office in the first week itself in front of Shraddha Kapoorâs film. On the other hand, âStree 2â is doing amazing business. Along with winning hearts, this film is also breaking all box office records. According to the report of Saccanilk, âStree 2â earned 291 crores in the first week.
As soon as it entered the second week, the film started running at the box office. On the second Friday, âStree 2â showed a growth of 4.17 percent and earned 17.5 crores, while on the second Saturday, the film collected 33 crores with a strong jump of 88.57 percent. On the second Sunday, the audience flocked to the theatres to watch âStree 2â and with this it made a tremendous collection of 42.4 crores.
