Riya Pandey / Delhi, If you live in Delhi, you must have eaten ‘Moolchand Paratha’ sometime or the other with your friends and family. The paratha here is very famous since the last four decades. Its taste is so wonderful that even the ‘Badshah’ of Bollywood i.e. Shah Rukh Khan comes to eat it.
The shop of ‘Moolchand Paratha’ is situated below the Moolchand Metro Station. The parathas here are famous not only in Delhi but all over India. The owner of the shop, Deepak told that in the year 1975, his father started making parathas by setting up a handcart, which has now turned into a luxurious shop. Talking about the specialty of the parathas here, the spices used in the parathas are homemade, due to which its taste is different from all other parathas. Apart from this, the green chillies served with the paratha are also in high demand, as this too is made at their home.

29 types of parathas are available at their shop including top selling Aloo Paratha, Mix Paratha, Onion Paratha, Cheese Chilli Garlic and Paneer Paratha. Talking about the price of Paratha, it ranges from Rs.40 to Rs.180. Here onion, green chutney and butter are given along with the paratha. Not only this, special chilli pickle is also served with the paratha. It is not bought from anywhere, rather it is made at home.
This shop is open from 6:30 am to 11:30 pm, and the nearest metro station is Moolchand.
