The phuchka and papdi chaat available at Pradeep’s famous chaat cart located in front of Harijan School, situated in Gumla district headquarter of Jharkhand, is famous for its taste. People come from far and wide to taste it. Here phuchka is available for 5 pieces in 10 rupees, papdi chaat for 10 rupees plate. Apart from this, special phuchka is available here at the rate of 4 pieces in 10 rupees, potato cut for 20 plates, samosa chaat for 20 rupees per plate.
Potato Chokha is specially prepared for Phuchka. Potatoes, gram, chickpeas, coriander, chili, cumin, onion, black salt, spices etc. are mixed in it. At the same time, tamarind water is also made specially. Which people like a lot and eat with great fervor. Everyday 250-300 people visit this cart for food.
Director Rahul Kumar Gupta told that earlier my father used to set up a handcart. Now for the last five years I have been peddling. Special spices and water are prepared for Phuchka. Every day from one o’clock in the afternoon to 9 o’clock in the night, a handcart is set up here. We also take orders for functions like marriages, anniversaries, birthdays etc.
Abhishek, a customer who came to eat at the cart, told that the phuchka and chaat available here are very tasty. I have been coming here to eat regularly for the last two to three years. Cleanliness is also taken special care of here.
