Gallup makes reports on the mental health and well-being of employees around the world. It has divided the people included in the survey into three categories. These include affluent, struggling and afflicted. According to the report, only 14 percent of Indian employees consider themselves to be affluent. According to the data, 86 percent of the employees consider themselves to be troubled. They have placed themselves in the struggling and afflicted category. This report shows that today the employees working in different organizations are feeling a lot of stress. 

How did we know who is under how much stress?

Let us tell you that in this report, the people who have rated their situation as 7 or more points have been placed in the prosperous category. All of them are seeing positive improvements in their lives in the next 5 years. Apart from this, the employees who have given ratings between 4 to 7 have been placed in the struggling category. These people have uncertain and negative thoughts about their lives. Not only this, all these people are also facing financial crises. Apart from this, those who have given ratings of 4 and below have been put in the suffering category. All these employees are not able to see their future. 

Employees of this country are happy

According to Gallup, the employees of the neighboring country Nepal are happier than India. According to the report, most of the employees are facing challenges like food, housing, illness and health insurance. Apart from this, South Asia has the least number of affluent employees. 22 percent of Nepal’s employees have placed themselves in the top category. About 35 percent of Indian employees get angry daily. Whereas in Sri Lanka this figure is 62 percent and in Afghanistan it is 58 percent. According to the report, Indian employees are engaged in work despite struggling.
