Recently, the Odisha government has presented a new gift for the women of its state. The state’s Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has started the Subhadra scheme for women. Under this scheme, women will be given ₹10,000 annually. Let us tell you how to apply for this scheme.

Women will get 10000 rupees every year

The Odisha government has started the Subhadra Yojana for the women of its state. Through this scheme, all the women of the state will be given ₹10000 annually. This scheme will run for the next 5 years, that is, all women will be given financial assistance of ₹50000 annually. The government will send this amount directly to the women’s account through Direct Benefit Transfer i.e. DBT on two occasions in a year. The first installment will be sent to the women’s account on International Women’s Day, while the second installment will be sent on the occasion of Rakshabandhan.

Women between 21 and 60 years will get benefit

Under this scheme, women between the ages of 21 and 60 years will be able to apply. Only those women who are natives of Odisha state will be able to get benefits under the scheme. Along with this, women who are doing government jobs will not be given benefits under this scheme and women who have any income tax paying member in their house will also not be given benefits. Women who are already taking benefits under any scheme from the government will also not get benefits under this scheme.

To apply for Subhadra Yojana, women will have to obtain the form from Anganwadi Centre or Block Office or Mo-Seva Kendra and Jan Seva Kendra. Women will not have to pay any extra money to apply for the scheme. After filling the form of the scheme, it will have to be submitted along with the relevant documents to the Anganwadi Centre or Block Office.
