Subhadra Scheme: The Government of India runs many schemes for women. Many of these schemes are brought to provide direct financial benefits to women. Recently, the Odisha government has also announced the Subhadra Yojana for the women of the state. Under this scheme, women will be given ₹50000. How can women apply to avail the benefits of this scheme? What is the eligibility for this? Let us tell you.

Women will get 50000 rupees

Under the Subhadra scheme launched by the Odisha government, women will be given ₹50,000. Actually, under the Odisha government’s Subhadra scheme, women will be given ₹10,000 every year. Under this government scheme, money will be sent to women in two installments of Rs 5,000 each.

The Odisha government has started this scheme for 5 years. That is, women taking benefit in the scheme will be given Rs 50000 in 5 years. Under this scheme, a target has been set to provide benefits to one crore women of the state.

These women will not get benefits

To avail the benefits under Subhadra Yojana, the age of women should be between 21 years to 60 years. To avail the benefits of this scheme, women must be natives of Odisha state. Women in whose family someone is in a government job will not get the benefit of this scheme.

On the other hand, women who have any income tax paying member in their house will also not get the benefit of this scheme. If a woman is already taking benefit under any scheme of the state, then also she will not be given the benefit of Subhadra Yojana.

When will the scheme start?

Odisha government has started Subhadra Yojana which will be started in the entire state from 17th September. Under this scheme, the state government will give an installment of Rs. 5000 each to women on two occasions in a year. The first installment will be given on the occasion of International Women’s Day while the second installment will be sent to the women’s account on the occasion of Rakshabandhan.
