When Subhash Ghai said that there are 5 types of actors. One is a non-actor, one is a bad actor, one is an actor, one is a good actor and one is a great actor. Subhash Ghai said, ‘There was a film in which I cast a boy but he could not act, he was a non-actor. One is a bad actor like Jackie Shroff because everything was new for him. But I felt that when he is understanding what I am telling him, then I worked on him and he became a good actor.’
Subhash Ghai further said, ‘There are actors like Anil Kapoor, who do whatever role they are given, this is the identity of an actor. A good actor is one who understands the scene and performs better than the scene and he is Shahrukh Khan He performed many scenes in ‘Pardes’ better than what was written. Now come the great actors who perform such scenes better than what is written that a person cries and I have seen such acting in Dilip Saab. His acting style was very different and heart touching.
Let us tell you, Subhash Ghai made his Bollywood debut as an actor but later he realized that he cannot act. That is why he made his debut as a director with the film Kalicharan.
