We are talking about Roshni Mukherjee, the founder of Learnhub-Class.
Roshni Mukherjee was born in Dhanbad and belongs to a middle-class family. Roshni’s parents wanted their daughter to study in an English medium school, so they got her enrolled in a nearby school. Roshni was very interested in studies from a very young age. In an interview, she says that during her school days, when her junior class children did not understand something, she used to explain it to them, which made her very happy.
Roshni enrolled in Delhi University for higher education and obtained a degree in Physics from here. She has studied from Hansraj College of DU. Even during college days, she used to solve the questions of her friends, her friends liked her way of explaining. After completing college, she got a job in a reputed company. Even while working for a long time in Bangalore, she had the same thought in her mind that she wanted to teach. She wanted to teach in such a way that more and more children could connect with her.
The children praised
Roshni says that she started teaching on YouTube in 2011 due to her hobby. Along with her job, she created a channel and posted videos of physics on it. She named that channel Exam Fear. She says that at that time there was not much learning content on YouTube in India. Also, the number of children studying from it was very less. Although initially there were very few children on the channel, but they liked it. Even today she remembers the first comment made on the video. In which a student had written that what you explained in ten minutes, our teacher could not explain it even in a week. After which her confidence increased further.
woke up at 4 am and made a video
Initially, there were no means to make videos. Since the house was near the road, there was also noise of vehicles. Due to which she used to make videos late at night, many times she even woke up at 4 in the morning to shoot videos. Roshni told in an interview that she started with Physics but made videos of other subjects as per the demand of children.
Mobile app launched
In 2014, he left a job of Rs 15 lakh per annum. In the year 2017, he had to face a lot of difficulties. Due to which the graph of his channel went down. In the year 2019, Exam Fear was renamed as Learnhub. This step was very good. Seeing the challenges ahead, Roshni started building a team. In 2021, Learnhub grew from a one-person operation to a team of 30 people, including new teachers and support staff. He set up an office in Bangalore and launched a mobile app, which reached millions of people within a short time. Videos are available for free on his platform.
