Sharda Sinha was admitted in Delhi AIIMS since 21st October. In November 2017, he was diagnosed with cancer. After which he was treated in Mumbai for several months. Received Padma Bhushan in 2018. Since then he was being treated in Delhi AIIMS. Sharda Sinha was suffering from multiple myeloma. After being admitted to AIIMS on October 21, she remained on oxygen support in the ICU. When her condition deteriorated the previous day, she was shifted to ventilator. He breathed his last at 9:20 pm on Tuesday night at Delhi AIIMS.
