Ramlala Pran Pratishtha: A village in Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh is going to become Ayodhya Dham on 22 January. There is a unique 500 year old temple in Bhamgarh, famous as the princely state of Rao Lakhme Singh. There are two statues each of Lord Ram, Sita and Lakshman. Also, the moustached idols of Lord Ram and Lakshman are present in this temple. The villagers speculate that perhaps this temple of two idols of God and a mustached idol is the only Ram temple of its kind in the country.

While talking to ABP News, social worker Sunil Jain said that on January 22, this temple of Bhamgarh will be decorated like Ayodhya. Bhamgarh, located 15 kilometers away from Khandwa district headquarters, is known for many ancient beliefs and characteristics. While the grandeur of Ayodhya Ram Mandir When the time came for Ramlala’s enthronement, people’s attention was also drawn towards this ancient temple of Bhamgarh.



Here Lord Ram is worshiped like a king.
Experts say that this ancient temple was renovated by Rao Lakhme Singh, the royal family of Bhamgarh. 80 year old Rukmani Bai tells that in this temple the moustached Lord Ram and Lakshmana sit as kings. Statues of Lord Ram in his childhood or in the forest are mostly seen, but in Bhamgarh there are statues of Lord Ram depicting his rule of Ramrajya in Tretayuga. Here God is worshiped like a king and is offered food.

Two more statues were installed during Bhuskute’s reign.
Whereas 85 year old Umashankar Barole says that people of our five generations have been telling that this temple is more than 500 years old. During the reign of Bhuskute, two more statues were installed in the temple for peace and prosperity, due to which flood water never entered the village despite there being rivers on three roads of the village. Dr. Deepmala Rawat, posted in the Tribal Cell at Raj Bhavan, Bhopal, also belongs to the royal family of Bhamgarh and she is also associated with the devotion of this temple for the Ramlala festival.

A festival will be celebrated in this temple on 22 January
Dr. Deepmala Rawat said that we all know the history of seven generations here, but this temple is many years older. Here each of the two idols of God has a different significance and people’s faith is attached to it. Village Sarpanch Virendra Singh Rawat tells that Akshat had come here from Ayodhya, which has been distributed to every house. Everyone has been invited to celebrate the festival of Ayodhya Dham on 22 January in the temple. Virendra Singh said that this will be a day of celebration for all of us.
