Something similar happened with a person. This person was reading Byron Preiss’ 1982 book “The Secret: A Treasure Hunt”. In which it was written that there is a treasure hidden on Staten Island. Then what, he went out to find it. He is digging for it at many places.

According to the New York Post report, 58-year-old David Hager, a resident of Colorado, America, woke up suddenly one Saturday. At 6 in the morning, he started digging in the park with his wife Michelle and two sons. He said, Byron Preiss’ book mentions that treasure is hidden at this place. This place has been excavated before, but nothing was found because those people did not understand the clues properly.

Keys buried in 12 cities
Hager is a geologist and science teacher. He said, there are two things in the book which no one has been able to understand till date. We paid full attention to this. We feel that the treasure should be at this place in the park. It is said that in the early 1980s, keys were buried in 12 cities of North America. Detailed clues have been given in this book about those places. Based on his book, many places were excavated in Chicago, Cleveland and Boston, but no treasure was ever found. Still people believe that the looted goods have been hidden in five sacks. Preiss died in a car accident on Long Island in 2005.

Excavated to a depth of 30 feet
After reading the book, Hager and his family travelled from Denver to Colorado to dig. They brought along battery-operated power drills, shovels and underground cameras. If Hager had found the key, his luck would have changed. Because the box in which the key is kept also contains a topaz, which is worth $2000 i.e. about Rs 1.66 lakh. They are still doing this work secretly and do not want to tell anyone about the digging site. Hager said, before coming here, we practiced behind our house. We tested different tools so that we would not face any difficulty. We found something in between, but unfortunately it turned out to be a rock. So far, this family has dug up to a depth of 30 feet, but the treasure has not been found yet.
