Summer Skincare: Moisturizer alone will not be enough to keep the skin hydrated in summer, take care like this

Summer is here and with it the time has come to give priority to skin care. Especially considering the dryness that comes with this season, applying moisturizer alone will not be enough. Excess sunlight can dehydrate our body and increase dry skin. Especially if very harsh products are used on the skin. Therefore, we are going to tell you what you can do to keep your skin healthy this summer.

How to take care of your skin in summer:

1 . Cleansing, Toning and Moisturizing (CTM): Start by following the CTM, which involves cleansing your skin with an appropriate cleanser, followed by toning and moisturizing.
2. Aloe Vera Gel:Choose home made aloe vera gel instead of store bought aloe vera gel. Apply it thoroughly on the face and neck to remove dark spots caused by sun exposure and to hydrate your skin.
3. Vitamin rich foods: Eat food items rich in vitamin C and E, like watermelon, cucumber and carrots in your diet. These antioxidants aid in skin repair and protect from harmful sun rays.
4. Stay hydrated:Adequately hydrate yourself by drinking at least two liters of water every day. Limit caffeine and alcohol intake, as they dehydrate the body.
5. Glycerine:Use glycerin daily to cleanse the skin, as it repairs damaged skin cells and maintains moisture throughout the day.
6. Protect lips:To avoid damage caused by UV rays in summer, apply lip balm with SPF 15 or higher.
7. Coconut Oil:To maintain a healthy glow, massage your face with coconut oil before bathing.
8. Use a soft towel:Use a soft, clean cotton towel to protect the skin from irritation and dryness.
9. Use natural soaps:Avoid scented soaps, which can irritate the skin and cause dryness. Instead, choose natural soap or shower gel.
10. Use sunscreen:To protect yourself from harmful UV rays and prevent skin dryness, apply sunscreen regularly before going out.
