All the constituent parties of the India Alliance protested at Jantar Mantar on Tuesday against the arrest of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his deteriorating health in jail. During this, senior leaders of many parties including Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Congress, SP, CPI, CPIML, Shiv Sena Uddhav faction, CPM, NCP Sharad Pawar faction, TMC reached the protest. In their speeches, the leaders fiercely attacked the central government.

In her address, Sunita Kejriwal said that Arvind Kejriwal’s life is in danger in jail. He has been arrested by ED on the basis of a false statement by NDA MP Magunta Reddy as part of a conspiracy. When the trial court granted him bail, ED went to the court of its lawyer’s brother and got a stay and then CBI arrested him. She said that just before the Lok Sabha elections, in the month of March, ED put CM Arvind Kejriwal in jail without any proof on the basis of a false statement by NDA MP Magunta Reddy. Magunta Reddy met Arvind Kejriwal only once. She said that while granting bail to the CM, the trial court said that the CM was arrested without any proof on the basis of a statement by giving the lollipop of bail.
